DOCTORAL RESEARCH

…in August 2021, I started a Doctor of Education (Ed D) in Leadership and Innovation program with Arizona State University (ASU) with a focus on Systems, Professional and Reimagined Change Leadership…

to continue my lifelong journey to learn, share, and connect…

While I tend to struggle amid process and often fight any given system, I have gained much in this program so far.

While my pre-application search indicated that ASU was a known leader in this field, I have been very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the engagements and the added value from the program professors and staff. Meanwhile, my student peers have been nothing but inspirational with their background/experience/talent, powerful in their commitment to lead innovation in education, and truly seized of their desire to share and learn.

My research remains focused on the fundamental link between leadership and innovation, to include better defining and understanding each term individually and how they interact for individuals and organizations.

While I seek to extrapolate the relevance of such ideas amid a broader scope of groups, contexts, and paradigms, my ongoing research environment centres on the Canadian military and more specifically, Canadian Special Operations Forces Command.

I am always interested in the next discussion….and the next collaboration, as I seek to share my research and transmit the most useful aspects as widely as possible.

I look forward to understanding how we might create meaningful discussions and other collaborations.
